ISWP offers the following assessment and related services
Court of Protection Assessments, Intervention and Support
ISWP provide assessments and support to vulnerable adults subject to court of protection orders or deputyship orders due to these adults requiring support in relation to property, financial affairs and personal welfare because they lack mental capacity to make decisions for themselves.
We work closely with solicitors who are appointed deputies to complement the legal support provided to such vulnerable adults by providing psychological, social and practical support through our highly experienced social workers and other professionals.
Adult Services Assessments, including Best Interest Assessments (BIAs) /Deprivation of Liberty (DOL) Assessments
We provide mental health assessments, best interest assessments (BIAs)/ deprivation of liberty (DOL) assessments and other assessments which may be required within the adult social care setting.
We undertake assessments and complete reports via our expert social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists to support clients in relation with their immigration cases, especially where there is a risk of parent and child separation due to immigration issues. We also provide reports to support clients in situations where a child or an adult has special needs such as mental health or physical disabilities, where removal from the country would most likely impact negatively on the client’s care, support and well being.
Occupational Therapist (OT) Assessments (in Conjunction with Enabling OT Solutions)
The aim of occupational therapy is to enable individuals to live as independently as possible, be it at school, college, work, or home. We provide all OT related assessments and can provide treatment plans if necessary.
